Barking Irons Applejack starts off as a hard cider, crafted with Jonagold, Macoun, and Gala apples. The cider is then distilled at Black Dirt in Warwick, New York, before it is received at the Van Brunt Stillhouse in Red Hook, where it’s aged for several months in heavily charred oak barrels.
