A superb Awatere Sauvignon made by Marlborough’s experts in sub-regional whites. The Awatere Valley is a bit cooler than the rest of Marlborough, so there’s less overt tropical fruit. Instead a brisk and focused style offers whte-green fruits along with a mineral streak that makes it very refreshing. Classic and just so beautiful in the glass, this is one to try.
