The Failla Estate vines were planted in 1998, are organically dry-farmed at 1400 ft above sea level, only 4 miles inland of the Pacific Ocean. The small block of Pommard Pinot Noir is planted mid-slope upon a rocky knoll. The wine sees only native yeasts throughout the fermentation process before aging for 11 months in 20% new French oak.
