The Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta Grignolino d’Asti appears a clear and bright ruby red color in the glass. The nose reveals notes of strawberry and rose with spicy notes (white pepper). On the palate, the wine is light-bodied, structured with fine tannins, persistent with an elegant finish.
Despite the light color, but thanks to its tannic structure, Grignolino is a very good match for a wide range of dishes: from pasta dishes with tomato sauces, pizzas, light cheeses and charcuteries to grilled meats and fish, vegetarian dishes, sushi and Asian cuisine in general. It can be served chilled and enjoyed as an ideal summer wine.
